Pedro Rodolpho Ramos is a Media Artist working with Film, Sound Arts, and Immersive Media.
Trained as an architect, I'm a media artist and composer engaged in creating immersive audiovisual experiences.
My artistic practice explores the relationship between cinema, space, and the human perception. It currently focuses on the intersection of audiovisual composition and immersive media, Film Music and Editing.
Having studied at the Studio for Electro-Acoustic Music (SEAM) of the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar, I regularly work with sound artists and filmmakers. Previous collaborators include the Danish producer duo Den Sorte Skole, media artists Katja Pratschke & Gusztáv Hámos and Cosmo Sheldrake.
Working with Film & New Media, I have extensive experience with documentary, FullDome filmmaking, Music for Film, and multi-channel video installations.
Based in Berlin and born in Goiânia, Brazil, my works have already been awarded and showcased internationally in over fifteen countries, including at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA DocLab), Ars Electronica Campus, the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montréal and the Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx).
