Buffer Overflow the Mindframes
Live A/V Performance, 2022, 15’
Buffer Overflow the Mindframes is a live improvised audiovisual concert in which sound and video arts carry the same weight of importance.
The performance‘s dramaturgy follows a clear line and combines numerous abstract forms of visualization and programming, including a visual processing by an Artificial Intelligence trained on painted animations. This approach is combined with pop-cultural references to the subcultural video styles of the early 2000s.
Developed in collaboration with Alexander König in commission by the Arts & Design Faculty of the Bauhaus University-Weimar, the performance happened four times over the summer of 2022 - at the Digital Bauhaus Lab, in Weimar, along with three daily shows at the Ars Electronica Campus, in Linz.
