Janus Award of Excellence: Visual Music in the Dome, FullDome Festival 2020

An awarded collaboration with Danish sample-based producer and composer duo Den Sorte Skole for their headline act at the FullDome Festival 2020, I've developed and performed live visuals for their set at the festival.

The visuals consisted of algorithmically produced animations manipulated in real-time and mixed along with 360° video footage of an audiovisual performance of the duo at St. Katharinenkirche in Frankfurt. The recording captured a closed performance, which along with a light installation by Danish artist collective Vertigo, would be part of the Luminale Festival's 2020 Program, canceled because of the pandemic outbreak.

Due to travel restrictions, the artists performed their set from their home studio in Copenhagen, while the visuals were performed live at the Zeiss Planetarium in Jena. The performance was streamed live at 360° and watched by an audience in over 25 countries.
